Find it at Rino's place: http://rinosplace.com/ Get the recipe: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/pasta-al-forno-8705896 Pasta al Forno RECIPE COURTESY OF RINO'S PLACE Level: Intermediate Total: 1 hr 55 min (includes resting time) Active: 1 hr 10 min Yield: 4 servings Ingredients Sauce: Extra-virgin olive oil, for cooking 1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced One to two 28-ounce cans marinara sauce 1 bunch fresh basil Salt and pepper Pappardelle Pasta: 4 cups all-purpose flour, or more as needed 6 eggs Meatballs: 1 pound ground beef 1 pound ground pork 1 pound ground veal 1/2 cup panko, or more as needed 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan 3 pinches kosher salt 3 pinches ground black pepper 2 eggs Canola oil, for frying Pasta al Forno: 2 cups fresh ricotta 2 cups shredded mozzarella Kosher salt Directions Special equipment: a pasta sheeter For the sauce: Cover the bottom of a medium saucepan with oil and garlic and cook over medium heat until garlic browns. Add sauce, basil, salt and pepper. Cook on medium heat for 15 minutes. For the pappardelle pasta: Make a bed of all-purpose flour, then make a well and add eggs. Fold all together, adding in more flour if needed, and knead until a dough ball is formed, then set aside and cover for 30 minutes. Run dough through a pasta sheeter to form pappardelle pasta (broad flat noodles). For the meatballs: Combine the beef, pork, veal, panko, Parmesan, salt, pepper and eggs in a bowl. Mixture should be on the drier side. If need be, add more panko. Form quarter-size meatballs. Heat a medium frying pan with oil and fry each meatball to a golden brown color. For the pasta al forno: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Add sauce to a 9-by-13-inch baking dish, along with the ricotta. Stir together, then add mozzarella and the meatballs. Let the cheese melt down. Meanwhile, drop the pasta into boiling salted water for about 7 minutes. Strain and add to the baking dish. Mix around, then bake in oven for 10 minutes. Subscribe to Food Network: https://foodtv.com/2WXIIWZ Get the recipe: https://food-network.app.link/AL8vRA0vQ8 Grilled Vegetable Lasagna RECIPE COURTESY OF KARDEA BROWN Level: Easy Total: 2 hr 20 min (includes resting time) Active: 1 hr Yield: 6 to 8 servings Ingredients 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 bay leaf One 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes One 15-ounce can tomato sauce One 6-ounce can tomato paste 1/3 cup red wine About 1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning 1/2 teaspoon ground fennel seed Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper 2 summer squash (about 1 pound) sliced crosswise 1/4-inch-thick 2 zucchini (about 1 pound) sliced crosswise 1/4-inch-thick 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 16 ounces ricotta 1/2 cup whole milk 2 ounces Parmesan, freshly grated 1 large egg 1 1/2 pounds fresh mozzarella, grated 15 no-boil lasagna noodles (from one 8-ounce box) 10 fresh basil leaves Directions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and position one of the racks in the center. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan. Add the garlic and bay leaf and cook for about 30 seconds, then add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste and wine. Season with parsley, sugar, Italian seasoning, ground fennel, salt and pepper. Simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, 15 to 20 minutes. Heat a cast-iron grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the squash and zucchini to a large bowl, and toss with the extra-virgin olive oil, salt and pepper. Add the vegetables to the grill pan in a single layer, working in batches if necessary. Grill until softened and there are grill marks, about 4 minutes per side. Mix the ricotta with the milk, Parmesan, egg, 1 cup mozzarella and a few pinches salt and pepper in a large bowl. Set aside. Spread a thin layer of the pasta sauce (about a third) on the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Add a layer of noodles (about 5), breaking to cover the entire dish in a single layer. Layer on half of the grilled veg, then half of the ricotta mixture and another third of sauce. Repeat the layers, finishing with the veg on top. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top in an even layer. Place the whole basil leaves on top. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking until lightly browned on top, another 15 to 20 minutes. Let rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. Transfer the oatmeal mixture and press it well into the bottom of the pan. Place it in the fridge to chill while you make the filling. If too watery, strain your cottage cheese, then blend with hand blender until smooth. Add the peanut butter and whisk the mixture well. Now, add the honey and vanilla extract, and whisk it again. In a separate bowl, add the coconut cream and whisk until stiff. Pour the mixture into the pan and spread it evenly. Gently fold into the peanut butter mixture. Spread over the oatmeal crust. Let it cool for 4 hours or overnight. Using a sharp knife cut into 9 or 16 bars. Drizzle with melted dark chocolate and serve. Enjoy!

    Join Amiel Stanek in his home kitchen as he makes doughnut bread pudding. This recipe is a great way to use up stale doughnuts, but if you’ve got freshly made ones, that works too. Start with classic glazed or sugar-coated yeasted doughnuts, which have a light and airy texture, rather than cake doughnuts, which are dense and will turn to mush when combined with the custard. The bread pudding will puff heroically near the end of its baking time, like a soufflé, but fall shortly after it comes out of the oven; don’t worry, it’s supposed to do that! The final texture is somewhere between an eggy bread pudding and a clafoutis, and it’s pretty hard to stop eating.
